FSN’s news bureaus are staffed by full-time, experienced, and highly-skilled broadcast news professionals with decades of global experience. FSN now seeks to expand its team of talented full-time Videographers in both Washington DC and New York City.

Duties /Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)

• Respond to breaking news and other assigned news events.
• Shoot and edit video news packages for broadcast using Adobe Premier software and produce live shots in the field.
• Work independently on original stories for digital platforms.
• Ability to collaborate with reporters, producers,  and news editor
• Be open to critiques, feedback, and training.
• Adapt well to new technology.
• Must always be available for breaking news travel and deployments across the USA
• Expect to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to lift and carry between 25 and 50 pounds regularly

Position Requirements:

• Two years of ENG experience with a news organization.
• A proven ability to shoot and edit TV news stories and features
• Extensive ENG experience
• Fluency in Adobe Premier or equivalent
• Ability to work to deadline in a fast news environment
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Experience with both traditional broadcast cameras and DSLR/mirrorless cameras /drone experience /license an advantage
